Looking forward to 2021!

Join us for Christian Fellowship extended to the County Fair on Sunday, August 9th with Mark Heiss. Mark a retired minister and his wife Heidi, live with two horses, three dogs, and one old cat near Niwot, Colorado. Mark has his “Boulder Mandolin” shop in his garage where he builds part time. Mark started playing mandolin in High School, inspired by the sounds of The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Fairport Convention, and the Faces tune, “Maggie May.”

Weld County Ramblers

The Weld County Ramblers formed as a group in the summer of 2013. Church friends and bluegrass beginners, they originally got together to play 45 minutes of sing along Gospel tunes on a Sunday morning for two little Methodist Churches in Weld County. People liked their music, humor, interactive banter, and reflection on the Christian meaning of their music. They were invited to play at senior centers, a memorial service, and other churches. The name “Ramblers” became a natural fit as their popularity and travel increased.

Since 2013, they’ve played the Greeley Stampede, National Western Stock Show, Boulder County Fair, Salida Bluegrass Festival (twice), The Gideon's Regional Convention (twice), numerous Churches, weddings, and street fairs. Their music is foot tapping traditional Gospel, tunes you already know and love, that lift your spirit and make you smile.Guitar, bass, banjo, fiddle, mandolin and three part harmonies make it easy for everyone to sing along!
