Do you want to make a difference in the community, meet new people and have fun all at the same time? Then the Boulder County Fair & Rodeo is looking for you! The Boulder County Fair would not be the success that it is today without the dedication and hard work and enthusiasm of its volunteers. All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt, name badge, training and invitation to a special volunteer appreciation event.

Information Booth Ambassador
Helping people find activities and events throughout the entire fairgrounds and answering questions. You are provided a book with maps and event details and other pieces of information that may be needed to guide our guests. If you like to visit with people and help them to find their destinations, answer questions and just have a fun time, this is the area for you. Qualifications: Must be friendly.

Roving Ambassador
Directing Fair attendees to the ticket booths and entrance points in order to keep crowd traffic moving in an orderly manner especially during rush periods. Volunteers to direct people and be knowledgeable about the overall main events and proper locations. Qualifications: Assertive, proactive and helpful. Must be friendly and have the ability to stand for extended periods at a time.

Event & Ticket Taker Ambassador
This is a Behind the Scenes position assisting with various event setups and operations like Mutton Bustin, Lucky Mutt Strut, Farm-2-Table, CPRA Rodeo, Demo Derby and more. Ticket Taker Ambassadors scan or verifying tickets, must be friendly and able to comfortably offer guests assistance and must have ability to stand for extended periods at a time.

Activities Ambassador
Assisting with Senior Day Activities, Crafts Day Activities, Duck Race, Sand box in the Kid's Corral. Assisting with Ag Educational Activities,hanging banners, delivering ice, shavings and signs. Must be friendly, enjoy working with people and able to take direction. Activities take place during the day.

Ag Education Ambassador
The Ag Education Ambassador oversees the Ag activities in the Exhibit Building during the Fair. They ensure the AG Education area is professional looking, updated and in good working order. It is important to be engaged with Fairgoers and promote the AG Education activities. It is important to educate the public of where their food sources come from and other interesting fun facts.

Shuttle Driver Ambassador
Driving the 6 or 4-seater cart on the designated shuttle route for guests who need a ride. Should be mature, outgoing, helpful and good with people plus knowledgeable about the fair activities. Guest safety is a priority. Qualifications: helpful, patient attitude, safe operator. This is for adult volunteers age 21 or older and a special training session is required.

Orientation Training

We will be hosting 4 orientation training's in July at the Clover Building next to the Fair Office. We are asking all volunteers to attend one orientation training. It's fun and you will learn about the fair.
