Rhiannon McDermid is a 17-year-old senior at Silver Creek High
School. She grew up with a deep passion for agriculture and
plans to pursue a future in animal science and agricultural
education at Texas A&M University after graduation. As an
active member of both 4-H and FFA, she enjoys showing
livestock and horses, blending her love for animals with a
strong commitment to lifelong learning.
As the 2026 Boulder County Fair Queen, Rhiannon has made
agricultural education the centerpiece of her mission. She is
working to build new connections between the Fair and local
school districts, traveling to area schools to teach kindergarten
through eighth-grade students about agriculture. Whether she is
in the show ring, the classroom, or out in the community,
Rhiannon strives to inspire others, promote the fair and rodeo,
and preserve the western values that have shaped her life.
