Sheridan McBee, Boulder County Fair’s 2024 Queen, is 19 years old, from Firestone
Colorado, and graduated from Mead High School in 2023. Sheridan is currently a student at
Aims Community College working towards a certificate in welding. She has been part of the Boulder County
Fair since she was 6 years old in the Cloverbud program. Sheridan’s projects in 4-H
were horses, dogs, archery, and market lambs. She graduated from 4-H after 12 years
in the program. She also shows market lambs through FFA and did the ag mechanics
team for FFA.
Outside of 4-H and FFA Sheridan loves to ride her horses, spend time with friends, and
work on her truck. She currently has a four-year-old colt named Chief that she has been
training by herself. Sheridan works with Chief in several different disciplines and hopes
to compete with him in ranch horse versatility, barrels, and roping in the future.
Throughout her senior year of high school, Sheridan studied agriculture and animal
science through the Career Elevation Technology Center in Longmont and loves
advocating for agriculture, 4-H, and FFA.
