Location, Admission & Hours


Where is the Boulder County Fairgrounds?
A: Boulder County Fairgrounds are located at 9595 Nelson Road, Longmont, Colorado.

What is the Admission Fee for Boulder County Fair?
A: There is NO Admission Fee for Boulder County Fair. There are also NO parking fees for 2026 Boulder County Fair.

What are the dates and hours of the Boulder County Fair?
A: The fair begins Wednesday, August 5, and runs through Sunday, August 9th, 2026.
The fairground hours are Noon to 11 p.m. everyday except Friday which opens at 2 pm. The Barns are open until 9 pm each day

4-H Livestock Exhibitor activities run July 28 - Aug 9, see schedule here for details.

Grounds Information


Where are bathrooms located?
A: Bathrooms are located inside the exhibit building, indoor arena, Barn A and outdoor arena, as well as numerous portable toilets found throughout the fairgrounds.

Can I use cash for all my purchases on the grounds?
A: Cash is good at many of our vendors and in the Dairy Bar. Depending on your purchase, some of our vendors accept cash, some accept credit cards and others offer tap-to-pay options. There are ATMs on-site.

The carnival uses Magic Money - an electronic token system held on a Magic Money Card/band, using an RFID chip. Magic Money Cards/bands are reusable and reloadable, so you can enjoy them throughout the Fair this year and for years to come! Reload your card/band using the Magic Money App, Magic Money Kiosks, or Magic Money Stations located throughout the midway. The cards/bands can be purchased in increments of your choice and reloaded for any amount.

Do you have stroller or wheelchair rental?
A. No, please bring your own

Can I bring my dog to the fair?
A: Pets are not allowed in any of the animal barns or Exhibit Building. Dogs MUST be on leashes.

Do you have disability parking and where is it provided?
A: Disability parking is provided in the north lot, east lot, west lot and south lot of the fairgrounds. A disability sticker or placard is required. See Fair map below for exact locations.

Local Longmont artist, Coy Ink (aka Amanda Maldonado) was contracted to illustrate our fair map this year! She’s been a Longmont resident since 2019 and quickly fell in love with the city. She loves to focus on our town for her art and you can find other pieces she’s made at Javastop, Firehouse, Wolf & Wren and Inside Longmont.You can find out more about the artist on their website coyinkstudio.com.
