Mutton Bustin

Mutton Bustin is FULL for 2024 - come see the kids ride on Friday, Aug 9 at intermission of the Bulls Event!
Like professional rodeo events, time and score count. Anything goes, and usually does, as contestants cling to the back of thickly coated sheep for as long as they can.
This year mutton bustin riders will compete on Thursday evening, August 8, then the top 10 Qualifiers will compete at the American Bulls event on Friday evening, August 9 before a live grandstand crowd.

Riders MUST be over 4 yrs old and Under 60 lbs for the safety of the sheep and the rider.

There is a $25.00 entry fee which is paid day of contest.

Night 1 will be August 8th - LIMITED TO 50 RIDERS
Night 2 will be August 9th - TOP 10 RIDERS WILL COMPETE FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP PRIZE DURING INTERMISSION OF THE BULLS EVENT
