2026 Bucket Calf

The Lee Gould family has been sponsoring the Bucket Calf program in Boulder County for over 35 years. This program has given children a sense of responsibility caring for their calves. During this show, youth are interviewed about their animal like age, weight, name and types of feed, receiving many creative answers. This is a very valuable program at the Boulder County Fair and lots of appreciation goes to the Gould Family.

Come out on August 9th to see our littlest competitors with their adorable calves!

Registration opens May 15, 2026 and registration by July 2nd is encouraged. No entry fee!

Helpful Hints for Registering:
1. Be sure you open and read the fairbook above to find your class number and rules.
2. Review our FairEntry tutorial and tutorial video.
3. On the page that asks "How would you like to participate?" select "As an Exhibitor" then scroll down past the green 4-H section to the blue FairEntry section and create an account or login using your existing account.
4. If you are still having login issues, try resetting your password or creating a new account using a different email address.
5. For best results, register all entries for each exhibitor in the family before submitting for approval.
6. Registration is not complete until you receive an email stating that your entries have been approved.
