2026 Lady in Waiting Pageant
Boulder County Fair & Rodeo Royalty Program
Are you ready to step into a legacy of leadership, community pride, and Western
heritage? The Boulder County Fair & Rodeo Royalty Program is searching for the next
young woman to represent the Fair, Livestock Show & Rodeo — and this could be your
year.
Join us for the 2026 Lady in Waiting Pageant, a one-day contest held on April 25, 2026
at Winner’s Circle in Longmont, Colorado. This is your opportunity to shine, grow,
and become part of a longstanding tradition of excellence.
Why Compete?
Royalty members serve as ambassadors for Boulder County’s agricultural roots and rich
Western traditions. Contestants are expected to embody professionalism, integrity, and
a warm, respectful presence — both in and out of the arena.
What to Expect
Each April, a Lady‑in‑Waiting Pageant is held to select the next Lady‑in‑Waiting, who then advances to Queen the following April. This creates a two‑year term: one year as Lady‑in‑Waiting and one year as Queen. An Attendant may also be selected if the Fair Board and Royalty Committee determine there is capacity and programmatic need. The Attendant role functions as an internship and does not guarantee advancement; she must compete in a future Lady‑in‑Waiting Pageant and be selected to continue in the program.
If you’re ready to represent Boulder County with grace, confidence, and heart, this is
your moment.
Be sure to register below! Registration closes April 20th, applications due April 22nd
