About the Role
The Boulder County Fair is looking for two (2) enthusiastic, organized Front Desk Workers to be the welcoming face and voice of our main office this summer.
If you love interacting with people, stay cool under pressure, and thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, this is the perfect summer gig. From greeting visitors and answering community questions to jumping in on event logistics, our front desk crew keeps the entire operation organized and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
This role covers a plethora of activities, meaning you'll get a great mix of customer service, admin work, and event coordination:
- The Face of the Fair: Greet visitors, vendors, and participants with a warm, helpful attitude as they walk into the main office.
- Communication Hub: Answer incoming phone calls, make outgoing calls, answer public inquiries, and route messages to the right team members.
- Administrative Support: Assist the team with data entry, filing, organizing paperwork, and managing fair check-ins.
- Event Assist: Adapt on the fly to help out at specific fair events or assist with registration/information booths as needed.
- The "Can-Do" Crew: Embrace a "no job is too big or too little" mindset. Whether it's laminating signs, sorting badges, or helping a fairgoer with questions.
